If you haven’t already noticed, AACR’s Programs and Education Committee have been busy this year. As part of the board’s efforts to build community and invest in our members, they have begun providing monthly activities.
Take a look at our Calendar of Events, and you can see the fruits of their labor.
The Committee’s co-chairs, Risa Garelick and Elissa Katz, surveyed members of our database last fall. Based on their findings, they’ve expanded our programming to include webinars, networking events, training and panel discussions. Events have been held in Casa Grande, Scottsdale and online. The aim is to continue to make programs more accessible to members and non-members alike.
In addition to the conventional General Membership Meetings, now held quarterly, we have added after hours networking events and webinars. This Saturday, there’s going to be a stellar lineup of Arizona’s leaders in conflict resolution for a panel discussion, History and Landscape of Conflict Resolution in Arizona in Arizona at the beautiful Hatton Hall in downtown Tempe.
In addition to listing AACR activities, when requested, we frequently list those of the Maricopa Association of Family Mediators as well as any public institutions that offer programs that may benefit our members.
